Last week James talked in chapter 4 about War: War with each other, was within ourselves, and ultimate war with God. This week the chapter continues and James instructs about the will of God. We may wonder what the 2 things have to do with each other- the answer is found in a man named Jonah. Jonah rebelled against the will of God and it put Him at war with God- James warns about the kinds of attitudes toward the will of God that put us in the same position- AND he also tells us what our attitude OUGHT to be concerning the Will of God.
