In every romantic relationship the comes a moment when the couple must have a specific conversation; The DTR. It stands for “Defining the Relationship” and it’s a conversation where a couple talks and they decide where they stand. Are this between them still loose and casual or at they ready for commitment. Looking through the Gospels we find that Jesus often initiated the DTR talk with His followers, seeking to know if they were committed to following or were they simple fans. This message is the first of 6 where we will have a spiritual DTR with Jesus and explore whether we are fans or followers.
