Retracing Our Steps
As Paul opens the letter to the Colossians he helps retrace their steps in the Gospel hoping to bring them back to the basics and pull them away from some of the problems present in the church.  It's a helpful exercise for us as well for we will find that our steps in the Gospel are the same as their's- and perhaps retracing our steps will be good for us as well.

    To Colossae With Love
Before we can dive into this letter we have to establish the context of it or it will be very hard for us to make any sense of it.  In this introductory message we'll examine the 4 C's of the Colossian Epistle: The City, the Church, the Crisis, and the Correspondence.

    The Gift Returned
Statistics say that 1 in 3 of us will be returning a gift after Christmas this year.  Most often a gift is returned because it wasn't what was wanted or expected.  But what about the Greatest Gift ever given: the gift of Jesus Christ? Did anyone return this gift? Di anyone receive it? Let's discuss what John has to tell us about that in John 1:9-13.

Today's passage is Galatians 6:1-5 where we will find Paul's call to "bear one anther's burdens". We'll see from the our study today, however, that this may not mean what you expect.  Essentially the call is for the body to be active in the work of restoring fallen brothers and sisters.  Listen here and be encouraged!

    Dealing with Differences
    Series: One Another
Conflict between believers within the Body of Christ has been a reality since the very early days of the of Acts and continues to today.  Conflict is a big reason why we have so many different denominations today- but conflict doesn't have to end in church splits- in fact conflict can be good in that it provides several opportunities for us to but our faith into practice.  Today in our second message in the One Another series we follow Paul's use of the word allelous to Romans 15 and we find there a 3 step plan for dealing with differences that arise in the body of Christ.
